Content Contributions
Content was collected from many sources and from many individuals. In most cases credit as to the source of the text content and media is displayed in the footer section of each article where possible, but in some cases, where content for a single article was contributed from multiple sources it was not possible to attribute credit them all.
Thus the Empowerment Gateway and I Support Program teams would like to thank the following organizations and/or individuals for their valuable contributions:
Special Appeal:
We have attempted to give credit to the originators and / or sources of the pictures and images, but it turned out to be a daunting task.The images as they were contributed, were in mixed categories (and yes, we had to go and re-categorize them all
) and in the re-categorizing, we lost the links to the originators. As this site is for the benefit of the Lagos community and her visitors and friends, we now appeal to the public out there, to help us to give credit to the originators and / or sources of the images by identifying your contributions from the articles and galleries and notifying us through posting a comment on the page where the image is shown.All you need to do is to post a comment referring to the particular image and your name (as you would like to have it appear in the credits caption). If the image appears in one of the many galleries, just specify the gallery Set number and the index in the set (a, b, c, d or e) (eg. Set4d). You do not have to specify which article you are referring to, as the comment will be automatically linked to the specific article.
We also invite you to suggest a caption or a location for the image (just keep is short). We will update the image captions as soon as possible thereafter.
