This portal is designed around an intuitive user interface to make the browsing and navigation as simple and effective as possible. Graphic content  has been kept to a minimum, in order to reduce page load overhead and to speed up the navigation as far as possible, so as to achieve our intended navigation efficiency requirements. Thus we can offer the visitors and users a fast and efficient route to get to the information they were looking for.

The navigation menus are designed and laid out logically to best suit their intended functions, while each of the functions are very clearly identified for ease of use. To further speed up the process, we have included a Quick Search functionality, where the user can for instance, just type in the type of commodity or service and get a rapid response of unique matches for the search phrase.

The menus in the left-hand pane of the page, are targeted for navigation to specific information, while the menus in the right-hand pane, list additional topical quick links and other site-related menus.

From the first concept phase of the website, it was our intention to focus on the most efficient delivery of user-solicited information, and we decided to not allow advertising banners and graphics that could disrupt, or detract from, the visitor's experience. Therefore you will notice the absence of banner adverts in this portal.

At the same time, we are very much aware of the importance of branding and marketing for any business; and have therefore, conceptualised alternative marketing and promotional methods, that will result in greater visibility and public awareness of the local businesses and organisations in the Internet and which are geared to simultaneously promote the Lagos business community as a whole.

In the next few of weeks, we will begin to introduce you to  some of these new marketing methodologies, processes and strategies.
