Invitation to Register as an Approved Supplier
to the Adopt-a-Pothole Programme
 

Empowerment Gateway is inviting registrations of interest from individuals and businesses in South Africa that would like to be considered for registration in the Adopt-a-Pothole approved suppliers list. 

Only provisionaly approved, approved or certified suppliers will be invited to tender for the supply of goods and services to the programme. 

The procurement process for the goods and services listed below will commence in the last week in September 2009, with most deliveries expected to be executed between December 2009 and the first week of January 2010. 

The Adopt-a-Pothole programme is a socio-economic initiative of the Empowerment Gateway Group and its operational phase is supported by international and national CSR and development funds.

The Adopt-a-Pothole programme was launched on the 1st of August 2009 in the Govan Mbeki Municipal region and it is forecasted that the programme will be fully operational by middle of January 2010. 

The project with an initial budget of R 100M will be run as a pilot for a period of 12-months from January to December 2010, before the business model is replicated in other municipal regions.
